Presentation Luncheon for the Channel Country Photography Competition

Vast Arts and Desert Channels Group cordially invite you to attend the Presentation Luncheon to celebrate the inaugural Channel Country Photography Competition.

The Photography Competition attracted a strong field of entries and thanks to our sponsors, there were substantial prizes for the winning photographs.

With over $8000 worth of prizes and three categories to consider, the successful photographers featured on a calendar produced by Desert Channels Group. The proceeds from the sale of the calendars will go towards a significant natural resource project within the channel country region.

The competition sought to have photographers capture the essence of the unique and wonderful scenery in the region interpreted through the lens of a camera! The only stipulation was that entries should have been taken in the designated area (within the Queensland catchment areas of the Diamantina, Georgina, Barcoo and Thomson Rivers and the Cooper Creek) within the last twelve months.
